[German]The developers of the Thunderbird email client have released Thunderbird 91.1.2 on September 28, 2021. This is a maintenance and security update for the 91 development branch, which makes minor fixes.

Older versions of Thunderbird are not yet updated to the 91 development branch. According to the release notes, Thunderbird now warns when an S/MIME-encrypted message contains BCC recipients. The update includes the following fixes.

  • A message with multiple attachments sometimes sent only one attachment
  • Thunderbird sometimes attached the wrong messages when multiple messages were forwarded by attachment
  • Thunderbird no longer asked for an SMTP username if it was not specified
  • Messages with BCC recipients filed in the Outbox did not keep the BCC header when moved to the Sent folder
  • Thunderbird displayed reminders for canceled or declined appointments
  • The "New feed account" dialog did not take dark mode into account
