Chrome 94.0.4606.81 (2021/10/07)

[German]Google has released a security update of Google Chrome 94.0.4606.81 for Windows, Mac and Linux on Oct. 7, 2021. It is a security update that closes vulnerabilities rated as high. Here's a quick overview.

The  Google blog has this post with the brief description of the vulnerabilities closed in Chrome 94.0.4606.81 for desktop.

  • [$3000][1254631] High CVE-2021-37980 : Inappropriate implementation in Sandbox. Reported by Yonghwi Jin (@jinmo123) on 2021-09-30

However, details about the vulnerability will not be released until the majority of users have switched over. The Chrome version for Windows, Mac and Linux will be rolled out to systems via the automatic update feature over the next few days.     Is there no longer a way to pop out a video and move it around the screen as there was in previous versions of Chrome? There is no music note icon at the top right of the window as there always was.

    Google Chrome 95.0.4638.54 stable is out along with 94.0.4606.101 in the extended stable channel branch
