Firefox 101.0.1 released

Mozilla[German]Mozilla developers have released versions 101.0.1 of the Firefox browser on June 9, 2022. This is a maintenance update that is supposed to fix bugs.

According to the release notes, the June 9, 2022 update brings the following fixes to Firefox 101.0.1: 

  • Firefox deletes clipboard on close on macOS (bug 1771823).
  • Fixed compatibility issue that severely impacted functionality when win32k lock was enabled on some Windows systems (bug 1769845)
  • Fixed context menus not being displayed when right-clicking Picture-in-Picture windows on some Linux systems (bug 1771914)

There are also some unspecified stability improvements included in the latest version of Firefox. Firefox should update automatically, but can be downloaded from this website for various platforms (choose the variant from the list boxes that appear).
