[German]Microsoft will also release a feature update for Windows 10 to version 22H2 in the second half of 2022. Now, the update KB5015684 is available as a preview for Windows Insiders in the Release Preview Channel to unlock the new version on Windows 10 21H2. Microsoft is thus releasing the preview for enterprises to test. And there are speculations that Windows 10 22H2 could be released in late September 2022.

Windows 10 22H2 Preview
Microsoft has published the article Releasing Windows 10, version 22H2 to the Release Preview Channel in the Windows blog. It's the first announcement and the release of the first preview build of Windows 10, version 22H2. Windows 10 build 19045.1865 (KB5015878) is now available in the Release Preview Channel for participants in the Windows Insider Program for Business to validate on devices in their organizations.
Microsoft writes that devices in the Volume Licensing Program configured for the Release Preview Channel through the Windows Insider Program settings page or Windows Update for Business policy (whether through Microsoft Intune or Group Policy) will automatically receive Windows 10, version 22H2 as an optional update.
Windows 10, version 22H2 is also now available through the Windows Server Update Service and Azure Marketplace. Should any issues arise, IT administrators in these organizations can request free Microsoft support. This support offering is designed to help resolve issues with enterprise-specific scenarios and is limited to Windows 10 Pro, Enterprise and Education editions.
Also for "Seekers" under Insiders
Microsoft also makes this build available to all Windows Insiders in the Release Preview Channel. However, the machine must be included in the Release Preview Channel of the Insider program. Then you can search for the relevant update KB5015878 via Windows Update. This means that Insiders who are currently in the Release Preview Channel can go to Settings and then Windows Update to download and install Windows 10, version 22H2. Once an Insider has updated their PC to Windows 10, version 22H2, they will continue to automatically receive new service updates via Windows Update (the typical monthly update process).
Unofficial for non insider
If you are not an Insider, but a private user with Windows 10 21H1 or 21H2, you can also upgrade to version 22H2 via feature update KB5015878 and then test it. The only problem is getting hold of the update file in question. The colleagues from deskmodder.de have provided the required update package as .msu package on this website.

Windows 10 22H2 is also being rolled out again as a "small feature update" to Windows 10 21H1 and 21H2. The changes for the new Windows 10 version have already been distributed to the older Windows 10 versions via Windows Update. It only needs the so-called Enablement Update KB5015878 to unlock these features and switch to 22H2 (see also Windows 10 V2004: Enablement-Update KB4562830 to 20H2).
ISO for Windows 10 22H2
Microsoft has also officially provided an ISO image file for installing Windows 10 22H2 for Windows Insiders. The ISO file in question can be downloaded after logging into the Windows Insider site. The build 19045.1826 has to be selected in the selection field (see screenshot).
You can then specify the language and select a 32- or 64-bit version for download. If you don't want to take the detour via the Windows Insider program, the colleagues from deskmodder.de provide the respective ISO files for download on this page.
When will Windows 10 22H2 released?
With the above-mentioned Enablement Update or the ISO files, Windows Insiders can officially (and normal users unofficially) already switch to Windows 10 22H2. For the masses of Windows 10 owners, however, Microsoft will only make the 22H2 available this fall. For previous Windows 10 versions, this happened in October or even November. However, at German site Dr. Windows I came across this article that says Windows 10 22H2 could be released as early as September 2022. The source of this rumor is Tom Warren, who made it public in this article.
