Apple introduced the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus in two sizes – 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches. Both the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max have an always-on display that works with the new lock screen widget feature in iOS 16. It supports information such as reminders, calendar events, and weather without having to wake up the iPhone. There is also a sleep mode for iOS 16 wallpapers that dims them to consume less battery power.
iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus have new TrueDepth main and front cameras, which includes Ultra Wide Angle Camera for unique perspectives and Photonic Engine – an improved image pipeline. Both models feature the A15 Bionic chip with a 5-core GPU. Apple has focused on power efficiency, display and camera in its new chip. The six-core CPU includes two high-performance cores that consume 20 percent less power and four efficiency cores that require only a third of the chips used by competitors.
