[German]On March 14, 2023 (second Tuesday of the month, Microsoft Patchday), Microsoft released several security-related updates for still-supported Microsoft Office versions and other products. A critical remote code execution vulnerability in Word is closed. Below is an overview of the available updates.

The updates are available for the installable MSI version of Microsoft Office (the click-to-run packages obtain the updates through other channels). Office 2019 does not appear in the list, as it is distributed via click-to-run packages and receives security updates via the Office Update feature.
Office 2016
The following security updates have been released for Office 2016.
- Excel 2016: Security update for Excel 2016: March 14, 2023 (KB5002351); Resolves a spoofing vulnerability CVE-2023-23398 in Microsoft Excel and a remote code execution vulnerability CVE-2023-23399 in Microsoft Excel.
- Office 2016: Security Update Description for Office 2016: March 14, 2023 (KB5002197); his security update resolves a CVE-2023-23399 remote code execution vulnerability in Microsoft Excel.
- Outlook 2016: Security Update Description for Outlook 2016: March 14, 2023 (KB5002254); This security update resolves a critical vulnerability CVE-2023-23397 that allows privilege escalation in Microsoft Outlook.
