Google Chrome 122.0.6261.94/.95

Chrome[German]Google has released another update to the Google Chrome browser (branch 122) in the stable channel on 27 February 2024. The Extended Stable Channel and the app for Android have also received an update. Both updates fix bugs and close vulnerabilities. Here is an overview of these updates.

Google Chrome (Stable and Extended) 122.0.6261.94/.95

The announcement can bei found in the Google blog. The stable channel has been updated to version 1122.0.6261.94 for macOS and Linux. For Windows, the update updates the browser to version 122.0.6261.94/.95.

The Extended Stable Channel has been updated to 1 122.0.6261.94 for Mac and 122.0.6261.95 for Windows. This update will be released in the next days/weeks.

According to Google, 4 vulnerabilities have been closed, with the following security fixes explicitly listed.

There are also various corrections from internal audits, fuzzing and other initiatives. The browser is updated automatically. You can also try to update the browser manually (via the menu and the About Google Chrome command). The latest build of the Chrome browser can also be downloaded here.

Chrome for iOS 122.0.6261.89

Furthermore, according to this Google post, Google Chrome for iOS has been updated to version 122.0.6261.89 and will be distributed via update in the next few days. This version contains stability and performance improvements, as well as the same security fixes as mentioned above for the desktop versions of the browser.
