[German]Microsoft has released an optional cumulative (preview) update KB5036979 for Windows 10 22H2 on April 23 (D-Week). This is intended to fix numerous bugs in Windows 10 22H2 and brings minor new features (account-related notifications for Microsoft accounts). Windows 10 Preview Update KB5036979
Cumulative Preview Update KB5036979 is available for Windows 10 version 22H2 (all versions). The following key points are listed in the highlights.
- New! This update begins the rollout of account-related notifications for Microsoft accounts in Settings > Home. A Microsoft account connects Windows to your Microsoft applications. The account also backs up all your data and helps you manage your subscriptions. You can also add additional security steps to prevent you from being locked out of your account. This feature displays notifications in the start menu and settings. You can manage your settings notifications under Settings > Privacy and security > General.
- New! This update affects the widgets on the lock screen. They are more reliable and have improved quality. This update also supports more visual elements and a more personalized experience for you.
- This update fixes an issue affecting some wireless earbuds. Bluetooth connections are not stable. This issue occurs on devices with firmware from April 2023 or later.
- This update makes some changes to the Windows search. It is now more reliable and it is easier to find an app after you have installed it. This update also gives you a personalized app search.
