Microsoft Update-Summary: Windows and Office (July 5, 2016)

Microsoft has released several non-security updates for Windows 7/8.1 and Office 2007 – 2016 at July 5, 2016. Here is a short summary.

Optional Windows-Updates

There are 4 optional updates issued for Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1, where update KB2977759, KB2952664, and KB2976978 are re-releases of prior updates. Here is an overview of all updates, released 07/05/2016.

The compatibility updates requires a Windows restart. If you plan to upgrade to Windows 10, it's recommended to install these updates – otherwise you can hide all updates.
