Windows 10 Creators Update, no support for Clover Trail yet

[German]Systems with Intel's Atom Clover Trail CPUs won't support Windows 10 Creators Update yet. That's in brief, what Microsoft told us a few days ago.

Users can upgrade to Windows 10 Creators Update manually since April 5, 2017, and at April 11, the new OS will be rolled out globally. But the rollout will be made in waves, allowing Microsoft to fix bugs and addresses hardware specific issues.

Users of Intel's Atom Clover Trail CPUs are not able to move to Windows 10 Creators Update yet. Microsoft wrote within this blog post, that Windows 10 Creators Update shall not be installed on systems with Clover Trail cpus. The following processors are not supported yet.

  • Atom Z2760
  • Atom Z2520
  • Atom Z2560
  • Atom Z2580

Microsoft wrote: Icons and text may not appear at all, or may appear as solid color blocks on devices containing these processors. After the driver issues has been fixed, the Upgrade will be offered via Windows Update. (via)
