[German]Microsoft has released a new Firmware Update for Surface Pro 3 on August 24, 2017. It shall fixes issues with devices using Type Cover.

This update has been enlisted on Microsoft's Surface Pro 3 Firmware Update History page. This update is available only for Surface Pro 3 devices with Windows 10 Anniversary Update 1607 installed, using a Surface Pro Type Cover or a Surface Pro Signature Type Cover.

At AskWoody.com there is a mention, that Surface Pro Type Cover suddenly stops working. So it seems the fix, but only for Windows 10 V1607. According to AskWoody.com, Barb Bowman also reported, that Firmware-Updates are shipped for Surface Pro 3 with Windows 10 V1703.

But those packages are dated March 2017 – mysterious.
