[German]A recent security survey shows, that nearly 2/3 of US techies are using a VPN for their private and business Internet communication.

The survey published by Wombat Security as 2017 User Risk Report contains this figures (see below). Within this survey they interviewed 1,000 adults in the United States and 1,000 adults in the United Kingdom on their internet security habits.

65% in the US are using a VPN provider on business and personal devices to hide their internet connection. In United Kingdom only 44 % are using VPN. Security concerns are the reason for this use. 9to5mac.com writes here, that's a reaction since legislative threats emerged in both countries. (via)
