Google has released on September 5, 2017 version 61 of Google Chrome browser for several desktop operating systems. The new browser contains bug fixes and improvements.

Chrome 61.0.3163.79 is available for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X, but contains no new features. The maintenance update closes 22 vulnerabilities and fixes bugs, documented on this Chrome page. Critical vulnerabilities in PDFium and WebGL has been closed for instance. Comments published beneath the Changelog mentions, that touch scroll won't work under Windows anymore.
Chrome 61 is available within an installed browser via auto update. A manual download for 32 or 64 bit for desktop systems may be obtained from this Google page. A portable edition may be found on this web page.
