[German]Support for Windows 7 SP1 will expire in January 2017. However, Microsoft offers enterprise customers the option of continuing to use Windows 7 via Windows Virtual Desktop on Microsoft Azure.

I had reported about the extension of Windows 7 support for enterprises within my blog post Wow! Windows 7 get extended support until January 2023. But companies can also run Windows 7 on Microsoft Azure and then deploy a Windows Virtual Desktop for users.
