As of October 3, 2019, the Mozilla developers released version 69.0.2 of the Firefox browser as a maintenance update. In this version, however, there were download problems under Windows 10 if the parental control was set up. I had reportedthat within the blog post Firefox 69.0.2 released – Beware Update on Windows 10

Now several blog readers have informed me about the update of the Firefox browser to version 69.0.3 (thanks for that). The following changes and bug fixes are listed in the Firefox release notes:

  • Fixed download bug for Windows 10 users with parental control enabled (Bug 1586228)
  • The bug has been fixed that Yahoo Mail users were prompted to download files when clicking emails (bug 1582848).

The browser should be offered via auto-update or manual update search in the help menu. The new Firefox is also available for download here for various platforms.
