In other words, the incident affects customers of Pitney Bowes worldwide, because they can't access the company's services.

System Update – October 15, 2019 at 12:00am
Pitney Bowes was affected by a malware attack that encrypted information on some systems and disrupted customer access to our services. At this time, the company has no indication that any customer or employee data has been accessed.
Our technical team works closely with external consultants to restore the affected systems to solve this problem. We are exploring all possibilities to speed up this process and work towards a solution and thank our customers for their patience.
In a FAQ, the company answers various questions. When the Ransomware attack was discovered, the company put together an appropriate team to solve the problem. Currently, there is no evidence that customer accounts or data are affected. In consultation with his security consultants, the company's managers see no further customer risks.
