[German]Google's developers have released an update to version 78 of the Chrome browser's (build 78.0.3904.87) to address two critical vulnerabilities. One vulnerability is already exploited.

The October 31, 2019 announcement on the Google Chromium blog reveals more. The update to Google Chrome 78.0.3904.87 closes the following vulnerabilities:
- [1013868] High CVE-2019-13721: Use-after-free in PDFium. Reported by banananapenguin on 2019-10-12
- [1019226] High CVE-2019-13720: Use-after-free in audio. Reported by Anton Ivanov and Alexey Kulaev at Kaspersky Labs on 2019-10-29
Both vulnerabilities are rated as high by threat levels. According to Google, there is an exploit for CVE-2019-13720, which is already being exploited. Chrome 78 users should update their browser as soon as possible.
Chrome 78 is available for Windows, Mac and Linux, you can download it here. If you use the Chrome portable version, you have to wait until it is updated accordingly.
