I stumbled uppon this tweet a while ago, where Microsoft 365 Status confirmed issues with Microsoft 365.
We've identified a portion of infrastructure responsible for processing Microsoft 365 access requests was experiencing issues. We've rerouted traffic to alternate systems to mitigate impact. Additional information can be found under MO203839. ^RC

At downdetector.com I found a peak at 3:55 p.m. for Office 365. users are complaing about server connections. The status page doesn't provide too much details, as you can see in the following tweet.
