[German]Apple presented a smartwatch, the Apple Watch Ultra, in addition to new iPhones (iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max) at its event on September 7, 2022. This is probably aimed at athletes. Furthermore, an Apple Watch SE was presented.

Apple Watch Ultra
Apple calls the Apple Watch Ultra a completely new "device". The Apple Watch Ultra is made of titanium (49 mm case size) and tries to balance weight, durability and corrosion resistance. The case rises up to enclose all edges of the flat sapphire glass on the front and protect the Retina Display, which delivers up to 2000 nits – 2x brighter than any other Apple Watch display to date.

A customizable action button provides instant access to a wide range of useful features. Features include workouts, compass waypoints, backtrack and more. The Apple Watch Ultra has the longest battery life of any Apple Watch, lasting up to 36 hours with normal use. Additionally, a new power saving setting can extend battery life up to 60 hours.
The Apple Watch Ultra features three built-in microphones that significantly improve the sound quality of voice calls in all conditions For example, an adaptive beamforming algorithm uses the microphones to capture speech while reducing ambient noise. In challenging, windy environments, the Apple Watch Ultra uses advanced wind noise reduction algorithms, including machine learning, to ensure clear and intelligible audio quality during calls.
The Wayfinder watch face is designed specifically for the larger display of the Apple Watch Ultra and includes a compass integrated into the watch face, providing space for up to eight complications. The Apple Watch Ultra is available with three new bands – Trail Loop, Alpine Loop and Ocean Band. The Apple Watch Ultra (priced at US $799) is available to order now and will be available on Friday, September 23, 2022.
