Microsoft Office 2304 (Build 16327.20308): Outlook displays self-signed e-mails as text

[German]Are self-signed e-mails received in Microsoft Outlook no longer displayed as HTML documents, but only as text? The cause is probably Microsoft Office version 2304 (build 16327.20308), which has this error.

German blog reader Matthias K. has just alerted me via private message on Facebook to a problem that seems to occur with various users. Microsoft Outlook can no longer display received mails as HTML if these messages are signed. Only a text display appears. Matthias wrote about this:

If in Office Build Version 2304 (Build 16327.20308) a self signed mail is received by Outlook, it is displayed as text instead of html and all images e.g. signature are replaced by a placeholder.

Matthias found the cause by chance and wrrote:

In version 2304 (build 16327.20248) of Office 265 the display in Outlook was still correct. I just updated an Office in the older version. Then the problem also occurred.

Maybe it helps you. Is anyone else affected by this bug?
