A list of the updates can be found on this Microsoft website. I've pulled out the details below. Since March 2021, Microsoft has been integrating Servicing Stack Updates (SSUs) for newer Windows 10 builds into the cumulative update. March 2023 is the last time Preview Updates will be available for older Windows 10 builds. Windows 10 version 20H2 Enterprise/Education will receive a security update for the last time and will then be removed from support.
Updates for Windows 10 Version 21H1-22H2
For the Windows 10 versions mentioned above, Microsoft provides only one update package, which is mentioned below.
Update KB5027215 for Windows 10 Version 21H1 – 22H2
Cumulative Update KB5027215 raises the OS build on all Windows 10 variants from 21H2-22H2 to 1904x.3086. The update only contains security fixes, but no new operating system features. A list of fixes can be read in the article Windows 10 22H2 Preview Update KB5026435 (May 23, 2023), these fixes have been adopted in the monthly security update. For the cumulative update, the following additional fixes are also specified:
- This update addresses a known issue that affects 32-bit apps that are large address aware and use the CopyFile API. You might have issues when you save, copy, or attach files. If you use some commercial or enterprise security software that uses extended file attributes, this issue will likely affect you. For Microsoft Office apps, this issue only affects the 32-bit versions. You might receive the error, "Document not saved."
- This update addresses an issue that affects the Windows Kernel. This issue is related to CVE-2023-32019. To learn more, see KB5028407.
Microsoft also notes that this update makes quality improvements to the servicing stack (is responsible for Microsoft updates). This update is automatically downloaded and installed by Windows Update, but is also available from the Microsoft Update Catalog and via WSUS and WUfB. Note the installation instructions and known issues described in the support post.
On June 13, 2023, support for Windows 10 21H2 Home and Professional will end – in the future, only Windows 10 22H2 will be supported with updates in unmanaged environments.
Updates for Windows 10/Server 1909
The following updates are available for Windows 10 Enterprise 2019 LTSC and Windows Server 2019.

Cumulative Update KB5027222 raises the OS build (according to MS) to 17763.4499 and includes quality improvements but no new OS features. This update is only available for Windows 10 2019 Enterprise LTSC and IoT Enterprise LTSC (the remaining variants are out of the security update supply on May 11, 2021) and Windows Server 2019. - This update addresses an issue that affects the touch keyboard. The touch keyboard Intermittently fails to open.
- This update addresses security issues for your Windows operating system.
as well as the following improvements:
- This update addresses an issue that affects the Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) cluster. It might not come online. This occurs after a periodic password rollover. The error code is 1326.
- This update addresses an issue that affects the Appx State Repository. When you remove a user profile, the cleanup is incomplete. Because of this, its database grows as time passes. This growth might cause delays when users sign in to multi-user environments like FSLogix.
- This update addresses an issue that affects the Windows Remote Management (WinRM) client. The client returns an HTTP server error status (500). This error occurs when it runs a transfer job in the Storage Migration Service.
- This update addresses an issue that affects signed Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC) policies. They are not applied to the Secure Kernel. This occurs when you enable Secure Boot.
- This update addresses an issue that might affect the Local Security Authority Subsystem Service (LSASS). It might close sporadically. The system logs the exception 0xc0000710 in the Application Error event 1000. Because of this, the domain controller restarts unexpectedly. This issue affects read-only DCs (RODC) that also run Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection (ATP).
- This update addresses an issue that affects the Windows Kernel. This issue is related to CVE-2023-32019. To learn more, see KB5028407.
The update is automatically downloaded and installed by Windows Update, but is also available from the Microsoft Update Catalog, via WSUS and WUfB. Microsoft has also updated the Service Stack Update (SSU). Note the installation sequence described in the support article and also the notes on additional requirements. Microsoft states known issues for the update in the support article.
