MS Teams not usable
Since June 19, 2023, there has been a problem that some users cannot use Microsoft Teams accounts on all Android devices certified for Microsoft Teams. According to Microsoft, sign-in fails for both user accounts and room accounts. In addition, users accessing Microsoft Teams with Android devices may be temporarily signed out of Microsoft Teams automatically.
According to Microsoft, the issue occurred on all types of certified Android devices, including certified Teams phones and certified Teams rooms on Android. However, Microsoft was able to narrow down the error to devices running Intune Company Portal Build 5882 and affected devices from all original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). These devices preferentially showed the described error.
Firmware update fixes the issue
According to Microsofts article Users may be unable to use Microsoft Teams accounts on any Microsoft Teams certified Android devices, this issue has been resolved by deploying the firmware update. Microsoft confirms that the issue has been resolved on devices where the fix has been applied. Microsoft recommends that administrators apply the fix to their managed Microsoft Teams devices by downloading the firmware update 1.19.584 for these devices in the Teams Admin Center.
