Patch build 2178 closes a 0-day vulnerability
Trend Micro has released a patch with build 2178 for its Worry Free Business Security version 10.0 Service Pack 1 on October 26, 2019. This patch is supposed to close a 0-day vulnerability in the web console. I've reported about that within my blog post Trend Micro WFBS 10.0 SP1: Patch Build 2178 released.

Patch build 2178 causes issues
Shortly after release, some users had issues installing this patch. Others who are able to successful install the patch are suffering from issues. Several users are reporting that TM WFB SP1 Build 2178 reports suddenly false Spyware alarms during a scan. Patch build 2178 removed from download site
A couple of hours ago German blog reader Calvin left a comment, reporting, that Trend Micro is aware of the false Spyware reports in WFBS 10.0. Also a few hours ago, blog reader Alessandro reported, that the patch 2178 has been pulled from the Trend Micro Download page. Thanks for your hints, guys.
