Disabling Exchange Online Basic Authentication in 2021

[German]In view of the corona crisis, Microsoft has postponed his announced plans, to retire the basic authentication of Exchange Online in autumn 2020. This authentication will now be switched off in the second half of 2021 at the earliest.

Exchange Online issues continues (March 12, 2020)

[German]Since 11 March 2020, there is a service outage at Exchange Online. Users could no longer log on with the Outlook desktop client. The malfunction seems to continue.
