[German]Bad news for Skype users. Skype service seems to have issues worldwide since February 3, 2018. Here are a few information I could collect so far.

Two days ago I already received a mail from blog reader Leon pointing me to this post about Skype problems. The issue was also raised here yesterday. According to this MS forum entry the problem already exists since February 3rd, 2018, now we have the 9th of February 2018, (8:30 am MEZ) and I have called the status page of Skype and got the following message.
Going to downdetector.com a few hours ago, indicates, that there are massive service issues (still continuing).
The map below indicates the problem is escalating in Europe. In addition, there are a few disruptions in some regions of the USA, South America and Japan.

After Microsoft bought Skye, there has been some jokey around 'well, Skype is the next think, Microsoft will kill'. Now we see major outages from time to time – not good. Any of you affected?
