Firefox 66.0.2 released

MozillaMozilla's developers released version 66.0.2 of the Firefox browser for Windows, Linux and macOS on March 27, 2019. It's a maintenance update that fixes some bugs, especially on Windows 10.

The release notes mentions several fixes for compatibility issues with Office 365 or iCloud and also fixes for crashes.

  • There is are fixed Web compatibility issues with Office 365, iCloud and IBM WebMail. The issues has been caused by recent changes to the handling of keyboard events. Details are discussed in a report for bug 1538966.
  • This new version also fixes a crash, documented in a report for bug 1521370, dealing with Reproducible tab crashes after update to Windows 10 1809.
  • And update to version 66.0.2 fixes bug 1539118 (crash in mozilla::gfx::DrawTargetD2D1::CreateBrushForPattern when using Canvas).

The new version shall arrive via Firefox' auto update or if you search for updates via the Help menu and About Firefox entry. The browser may be downloaded also here.
