Just a brief security note: Attacks with ransomware probably happen mostly at night or on weekends, when no administrator or IT manager is available.
Catalin Cimpanu has put the whole thing together in an article. 49% of the attacks occur at night during the week – and 27% occur at the weekend.
I’ve covered numerous targeted ransomware attacks for my articles over the past 2 years.
All took place over the weekend or the night, so this FireEye report doesn’t surprise me at all. pic.twitter.com/QoRi4OudoS
