Zoom outage?

The video conference service Zoom experienced a major outage a few hours ago and the service was no longer available. In the meantime, Zoom seems to have fixed the issue.

I have become aware of this fact via the following tweet, which was mentioned by Bleeping Computer.

If there are still problems with zoom, you should log out of the session and try again. If this does not work, simply log out of Zoom completely and log in again. Was anyone affected?
