[German]On June 18, 2020, Microsoft released the next batch of Out-of-band updates to fix the printer issues that occurred after installing the June 2020 patchday updates in Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 – including its server counterparts.

I had mentioned it in the blog post Windows 10: Printer issues after June 2020 Updates. The cumulative security updates released on June 9, 2020 for various Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 versions as well as the corresponding server versions cause serious printing issues for many users.
Microsoft confirmed the printing issue on the status page of Windows 10 version 2004 for all cumulative security updates for Windows 10 and Windows 8.1 and the server counterparts. I had pointed out the first unscheduled updates for Windows 10 versions 1803 through 1909 in the blog post Windows 10: Out-of-band update to fix printer issues.
Further updates for the Print Bug
Blog reader EP has posted a comment in the blog about further released optional updates to fix the printer bug. Microsoft says within the update description:
Addresses an issue that might prevent certain printers from printing. The print spooler might generate an error or close unexpectedly when attempting to print, and no output will come from the affected printer. You might also encounter issues with the apps you are attempting to print from, such as receiving an error, or the app might close unexpectedly. This issue might also affect software-based printers, such as when printing to PDF.
So the bug that crashes the printer queue and prevents printing should be removed. In addition to Part I, correction updates for the outstanding Windows versions from the above list have now been released.

- KB4567521 for Windows 8.1 / Windows Server 2012 R2
- KB4567522 for Windows 8 Embedded / Windows Server 2012
All of these updates are optional and are only available for manual download from the Microsoft Update Catalog. If necessary, search for the KB number there and then download and manually install the appropriate update package. Final question: Does this solve your printer problems?

NO. KB4567523 DOES NOT SOLVE PRINTER PROBLEM ON MY WINDOWS 10 2004.
But on my – it does. Tested yesterday.. Strange.
KB4567523 also worked for me on WIN10 x64 2004 Update, DCP-195C printer.
I'm still having printing problems.
I have Windows 10 1909. Restarted my computer as regular and ended up installing KB4560960 CU and had subsequent spooling problems when printing. Spooler just ends. Uninstalled the update. Problem solved.
Microsoft then sneaked KB4559309 Edge Chromium and KB4497165 Intel update onto my computer. Printing problems again. Uninstalled KB4497165 (I have an AMD). Problems not fixed. I can't uninstall the Edge update as EP said. I tried to install KB4567523 for 1903 and later, but got "Update is not applicable to your computer". Tried KB4567512, didn't fix it. Uninstalled KB4567512 fix, but now have CU KB4560960, and I can not uninstall this either.
Edge Update KB4559309 seems the culprit – got some similar comment.
Yeah, but no fix yet?
I just started having the problem after Windows Update (September 30, 2020). Nothing I have tried seems to work. I get the not applicable message when I try to install KB4567523. How can it not be applicable. Windows 10 Version 2004, 64 bit computer, I am running the correct update package.
The KB4567523 update is from late JUNE 2020, John.
you're about three months too late to install that now as the Win10 v2004 OS may have quietly installed a newer update like KB4565503 or even KB4571756 from Sept. 2020 which both replace the KB4567523 update and making KB4567523 useless and – not applicable
We are having a number of printing issues caused by these updates and due to the banks policies and security they cannot be removed thus leaving colleagues unable to perform there jobs and losing the bank incredible amount's of money …… seriously Microsoft c'mon before the lawsuits come out ……
