What exactly is the issue?
Windows 10 gives users the ability to reset the system to factory default settings. This feature is available in the operating system settings in the Recovery category under 'Reset this PC'.
The user is then guided through the steps to reset Windows 10 to its factory default settings. Starting with Windows 10 2004, a recovery from the cloud can also be selected. Microsoft describes the reset in this support document.
It don't work all time in Windows 10 2004
Under Windows 10 Version 2004, however, some users may run into problems when resetting the operating system. Bleeping Computer spotted this Microsoft support document that confirmed this issue. Microsoft writes about it
Under certain hardware configurations, when attempting to Reset this PC on a system running Windows 10, build 2004, the reset attempt fails with the following error:
There was a problem when resetting your PC. No changes were made.
If a user runs into the above error message, the image must be repaired for resetting Windows 10 2004 using DISM. This is possible with the following steps:

1. Open an administrative command prompt (type cmd in the search field of the taskbar and use the context menu command Run as administrator)
2. Then run the command dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth to repair the image.
Afterwards Windows 10 must be restarted. After that, it should be possible to reset the system using the Windows 10 feature again.
