[German]On August 9, 2022 (second Tuesday of the month, Patchday at Microsoft), several cumulative updates were released for the supported Windows 10 builds (from RTM version to the current version). Here are some details about each security update.

A list of the updates can be found on this Microsoft website. I have pulled out the details below. Since March 2021, yes, Microsoft has been integrating Servicing Stack Updates (SSUs) for newer Windows 10 builds into the cumulative update. The description of the fixes in the June 14, 2022 security updates is extremely brief. Those looking for details on the fixes will have to check the descriptions of the preview updates from previous weeks (see also the list of posts linked at the end of the article).
Updates for Windows 10 Version 20H2-21H2
For the Windows 10 versions mentioned above, Microsoft provides only one update package, which is mentioned below.
Update KB5016616 for Windows 10 Version 20H2 – 21H2
Cumulative update KB5016616 raises the OS build to 19042.1889 for Windows Server version 20H2, 19043.1889 for Windows 10 version 21H1, and 19044.1889 for Windows 10 version 21H2. Support is ending for Windows Server 20H2. The update only includes security fixes, but no new operating system features – and Microsoft is giving the following details:
- Addresses an issue that affects the printing of files you submit to a printer.
- Addresses a known issue that might prevent the Input Indicator and Language Bar from displaying in the notification area. This issue affects devices that have more than one language installed.
- Addresses security issues for your Windows operating system.
Regarding the improvements, Microsoft lists the following item:
- Addresses an issue that might cause the Local Security Authority Server Service (LSASS) to leak tokens. This issue affects devices that have installed Windows updates dated June 14, 2022 or later. This issue occurs when the device performs a specific form of service for user (S4U) in a non-Trusted Computing Base (TCB) Windows service that runs as Network Service.
- Addresses an issue that creates a duplicate print queue. This causes the original print queue to lose functionality.
- Addresses a known issue that might prevent the Input Indicator and Language Bar from displaying in the notification area. This issue affects devices that have more than one language installed.
Microsoft notes that this update makes quality improvements to the servicing stack (is responsible for Microsoft updates). This update is automatically downloaded and installed by Windows Update, but is also available from the Microsoft Update Catalog and via WSUS and WUfB. Updates for Windows 10 Version 1809
The following update is available for Windows 10 Enterprise 2019 LTSC and Windows Server 2019.
Update KB5016623 for Windows 10 Enterprise 2019 LTSC /Windows Server 2019 LTSC
Cumulative update KB5016623 raises the OS build (according to MS) to 17763.3287 and includes quality improvements but no new OS features. Also for this Windows 10 version, which will only receive updates for Enterprise LTSC and IoT Enterprise LTSC (the remaining variants are out of the security update supply on May 11, 2021), Microsoft states the following security fix.

Updates for Windows 10 Version 1507 till 1607
Updates for the Enterprise LTSC versions are available for Windows 10 RTM up to version 1607. These updates are automatically downloaded and installed by Windows Update, but are available for download from the Microsoft Update Catalog (search by KB number). Before manual installation, the latest Servicing Stack Update (SSU) must be installed. Details can be found in the respective KB article.
- Windows 10 Version 1607: Update KB5016622 is only available for Enterprise LTSC and Windows Server 2016. The update raises the OS build to 14393.5291, but fixes a number of issues.
- Windows 10 Version 1507: Update KB5016639 is available for the RTM version (LTSC). The update raises the OS build to 10240.19387 and fixes a number of bugs.
There was no update for the remaining Windows 10 versions, as these versions have fallen out of support. Details about the above updates can be found in the respective Microsoft KB articles.

Where can I find the August 2002 Windows 10 update for 64 bit versions for a direct maual installation??? This all here doesn´t help me any further, my update tries failed last month and this month, so I had to pause the automated updates until the 19th of August. No idea what to do then, they´ll fail again.
