MO833546: No Edge access to Microsoft 365

Under the designation MO833546, dated July 24, 2024, Microsoft has issued the advisory "Some users may be unable to access Microsoft 365 resources using the Microsoft Edge iOS application", which addresses issues with the services of the Microsoft 365 suite. Some users may be unable to access Microsoft 365 resources when using the Microsoft Edge iOS application.

This affects users with the latest Edge for iOS version 126.2592.117. The browser may crash on startup. When Edge is restarted, the user may see a message "An error has occurred. We are working on it." and a crash report will be sent.

Microsoft is working to fully resolve the impact of the issue. During this time, as a workaround, users may be able to go to the App Store and manually update the Edge for iOS app to version 126.2592.120 to work around the issue.

Current status: Microsoft developers have determined that a recent standard service update has inadvertently caused some users to experience unexpected crashes when using the Microsoft Edge iOS app.

A new version of the Edge app has been made available in the App Store to prevent crashes and impacts. However, it may take a few days for this to be automatically installed on affected devices. However, users can visit the App Store and manually update the Edge for iOS app to the latest version 126.2592.120 to work around the issue.
