[German]Microsoft has released recently a few firmware updates for Surface tablet PCs. Currently a July 2016 firmware update for Surface 3 is in preparation.

The firmware update shall improve battery usage, reliability, camera, sensors and UEFI. The Update History page still doesn't give a clue about this update. But there is a Technet article from Juli 19, 2016 with a few hints.

Currently it seems, that the firmware update isn't available via Windows Update, but should be arrive in Windows 8.1 and Windows 10 within a few days. Downloading the zip archive files from the following links is possible.
