Microsoft's new designed 'Security Update Guide'

Windows Update[German]Microsoft has re-designed it's page informing about all security updates released. The page is for IT professionals and users who are searching details about security updates from Microsoft.

The new page is called 'Security Update Guide' and provides access to the description of security update support articles, CVE numbers and also downloads.

Microsoft has introduced this new re-design within the msrc blog. They presented the 'Security Update Guide' as an one-stop site for information about all security updates provided by Microsoft.

This new version shall provide a more intuitive user experience to help protect customer systems, regardless of what Microsoft products or services they use in their environment. Microsoft claims, they have listened to user feedback and incorporated many of the suggestions made by customers. For example, it is now much easier to get a simple list of all CVEs being released on an Update Tuesday or between your own custom date range (see Vulnerabilities tab).

Additionally, users can now quickly get a unique list of downloadable patches along with links to Release Notes and KB Articles (see Deployments tab). Finally, users can select columns to personalize your display (see Edit Columns), and you can even switch to Dark Mode if you prefer (see Theme control in menu). Here's a list of highlights in this updated version of the Security Update Guide:
