Microsoft says that Defender is sufficient for virus protection

WindowsWhen it comes to virus protection and securing Windows, the market for third-party antivirus solutions is shrinking. Microsoft claims that Microsoft Defender, which comes bundled with Windows, is actually sufficient as a security solution to protect against viruses and malware.

I myself have actually been relying on Microsoft Defender as my antivirus solution for Windows since the days of Windows 7. In my environment, there was no need to bring in another security solution. So the topic kind of passed me by—but the other day, the following tweet caught my eye.
