Thank you, Alex. So finally (taking into account the sentence" there should be SOME process in your tenant which did not follow the Microsoft Compliance,") nobody knows what exactly did not met compliance either rules which have been violated, so there's no chance for objection nor to avoid it in the future, but tenant blocked anyway and I cannot get back my working files which are mostly text files, pdf and drawings.

This is the most frustrating situation I have ever met with paid and busisiness service before, and the only thing I got is 'sorry' from the privider which seems too big to get a real responsibility. Hope the post will help others to see the level of reliability to prevent loosing of hours and hours of work

    Hello

Once a day I've found I can't enter to any MS service of my BUSINESS account with any ID, incl. OnDrive cloud storage where I still have a lot of working files like contracts, drawing, notes etc. And there's ONLY working files as some of the files and directories are shared with partners

I seeked technical assistance but get the cloudy response:

"We examine new government mandates thoroughly to be certain our compliance does not impact a customer beyond what is required by law. ******.onmicrosoft.com has been identified as subject to mandates and we're obliged by law to take action. Our legal team is required to follow a government mandate process to identify and suspend service. If you require any further information on this I recommend you seek external counsel.

Further calls to other agents will be met with the same response"
With no further explanation nor ability to get my files back. Any idea how I can recover my files which are stolen by this way?

Reason of the action could be also intersting but I'm not sure it's reasonable to use the OneDrive cloud storage anymore for anybody who need cloud storage for essential files used for work or business. Probably the reason is some new goverment regulation in Russia or US but I'm not sure the immediate blocking w/o ability to backup my work is not an excessive action just in case safety been affected

And here' further replies to the thread which seems actually blocked by MS
    Dear Sergey,

Thanks for your post in the Microsoft Community.

I've checked the support ticket you have opened with your tenant, and unfortunately, per what he suggested, there should be some process in your tenant which did not follow the Microsoft Compliance, so your tenant was suspended as a result. We can not provided more information on this, we are deeply sorry about this.

If you have any doubts on this, please seek help from the external counsel.

This thread will be changed into Discussion, if there are any users who experienced the similar situation, please leave a comment here about how you handle this situation and help our original post.

    Regards,

    Alex Chen

    here's something interesting to note,

I had a hardware failure and was in a rush to get stuff out of a 2TB hard drive, my onedrive was 1TB at most and my brother shared me a folder so I could upload some stuff quickly.

I sent a bunch of folders, which I believe were a few TV shows downloaded from YouTube directly and possibly my Google Drive folder which in this case would some porn..

I couldn't confirm because the folder was set on both end to not be synced yet (selected off) and now has just plain disappeared so he had no idea what I was uploading to his empty folder and he got banned. Microsoft locked his whole 20+ years old account, Xbox, email which allows access to password resets etc for hundreds of websites/services, Skype, OneDrive, everything even tho HE shared nothing publicly or with me, I shared folders to HIM

so, if you want someone to get banned, just get them to share a folder with you and then upload rubbish via the onedrive webpage. works, no warnings, no chance to fix.

just telling him "you broke TOS, bye"
