The platform was probably a contact point for trafficking drugs or other illegal activities on the Deep Web. If the accusations can be proven, it looks rather bad for the young man, who is still a student.

The background is that a bug in Windows 10 prevents Windows' SmartScreen filter from kicking in when an invalid digital signature is present.
