There was an installation problem there because a certificate was found to be faulty – caused trouble when reinstalling. Sophos was aware of the problem for a few days and it was probably fixed by July 31, 2022. Here is some information about this issue.
[German]In Luxembourg, the company Creos has fallen victim to the Alphv ransomware gang (better known as BackCat). Creos operates both a gas pipeline and electricity supply in the Grand Duchy. This was made public by a release from the Alphv ransomware group.

From April 2023, support for Office 2013 will end – but more importantly, from October 2023, the ability to access services for Microsoft 365 from Microsoft Office 2016 and 2019 ends. Microsoft Windows Server 20H2 will receive security updates for the last time on August 9, 2022, i.e. in a few days, and will then be removed from Microsoft's support. The attack resulted in the company having to shut down its MyAppsAnywhere cloud services, consisting of hosted Dynamics GP, Exchange, Sharepoint and CRM services, to prevent further damage.
[German]Amazon is discontinuing its online storage and cloud service Amazon Drive for customers for 11 years. That's according to an email that affected Amazon customers must have received. However, the end is not until December 31, 2023.
[German]Intel once again makes a cut on July 27, 2022 and declares graphics drivers for graphic units of older CPUs as obsolete. On this date, all graphics drivers for GPUs of Intel processors of generations 6 to 10 will be removed from the regular update process. These graphics drivers should only receive security updates in case of serious vulnerabilities.
