OneDrive Support for Desktop App ends on Jan. 1, 2022 für Windows 7, 8, 8.1

[German]Support for the OneDrive desktop app will end for Windows 7, 8, 8.1 on January 1, 2022, Microsoft announced in a tech community post. There will be no more updates for the app then, and on March 1, 2022, syncing with OneDrive in the desktop app will also stop. Babuk gang uses ProxyShell vulnerability in Exchange for ransomware attacks

A Babuk ransomware partner named "Tortilla" probably joined the group in October and is deploying this web shell. The ProxyShell vulnerability can be closed long ago by updates on on-premises Microsoft Exchange servers.

Windows 11: Out-of-band update KB5008295 fixes app start issues (2021/11/05)

Windows[German]Microsoft has released an unscheduled update KB5008295 for Windows 11 as of November 5, 2021. The purpose of this update is to fix the startup issues of the apps shipped with Windows 11. These apps have not been launching since November 1, 2021 because a certificate expired on October 31, 2021. This also fixes the Snipping tool that is on strike.
