Windows 10 V1903: RDP (dwm.exe) causes high CPU load, freezes VMs

[German]Windows 10 May 2019 Update (version 1903) has a bug in Remote Desktop Connections (RDP). These cause a high CPU load on a CPU core when disconnecting the session. There are also reports that VMs freeze on RDP connections (when not enough cores are allocated). However, there is a workaround.

[German]Hacker are scanning the web for and attacking unpatched Pulse Secure and Fortinet SSL VPNs for several days. Private keys and user passwords can be read out via vulnerabilities. The manufacturers released updates for the vulnerabilities months ago.

Google releases Chrome 76.0.3809.132

The Google Chrome browser has been updated to version 76.0.3809.132. According to the Chromium website, the new version closes a critical vulnerability CVE-2019-5869 and contains further fixes. The update is available for Linux, macOS and Windows and will be rolled out gradually over the next few weeks via auto-update. (via)

Windows 10 V1903: Update KB4512941 refreshed (08/26/2019)

Microsoft is currently testing the KB4512941 update for Windows 10 Version 1903 on Windows insiders. I reported about it in the blog post Windows 10 V1903: Updates KB4512941 and KB4515530. Now KB4512941 was updated. The the colleagues from deskmodder.de report here, the sandbox should finally work now. Some insiders are testing Microsoft's upgrade to Windows 10 19H2 (see Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 18363.327 (19H2)).
