A couple of days ago, Microsoft has announced the general availability of the new Teams app for virtual desktop infrastructure. Now Microsoft has published, that they are is discontinuing support for the Classic Teams client for the Virtual Desktop as of June 30, 2024.
Google Drive users have been complaining about lost files for weeks. At the end of November 2023, Google began investigating reports from such users and described the problem in this support article. It only affected a few users who used "Drive for Desktop (v84.0.0.0 – 84.0.4.0)" for synchronization. There is now a support article Restoring files in Drive for Desktop (version 84.0.0.0 to 84.0.4.0) that describes the methods for restoring files.
A little tip for analyzing Windows programs for malware or their components. There is a product called PEStudio by Marc Ochsenmeier that can be used to quickly analyze a Windows program and check its components for malware via VirusTotal.
