In the latest Insider Preview Build 26220.6772 (KB5065797) from October 6, 2025, Microsoft announced that the commands for setting up local user accounts during setup will be removed.

Microsoft Admin Center down – there are certificate errors (Oct. 9, 2025)

[German]Brief information for administrators of Microsoft Cloud services. If someone cannot access the Microsoft Admin Center, it is not your fault. Since around 10:30 a.m., the Microsoft Admin Center has been down globally because a certificate expired. This comes after Microsoft 365 experienced issues yesterday (see Microsoft 365: Outage blocks Teams and Exchange Online (Oct. 8, 2025)).

Microsoft 365: Outage blocks Teams and Exchange Online (Oct. 8, 2025)

Stop - Pixabay[German]Yesterday noon / evening (Central European Time), October 8, 2025, there was a disruption to Microsoft 365 services. This resulted in users experiencing problems accessing Microsoft Teams and Exchange Online features. As the disruption occurred late in the evening, users in Europe were likely to have been less affected. After just under two hours, Microsoft managed to resolve the cause of the disruption.

Electronics distributor Avnet confirms data leak (Sept. 2025)

Windows 10 22H2 reports end of support – US consumer organization calls for ESU for all

Microsoft 365: Confusion about OneDrive storage in European countries

[German]Confusion surrounds the feature rolled out by Microsoft in June 2025, which ensures that Microsoft 365 apps store their backups of document files on OneDrive. This functionality does not appear to be available in Europe (yet). It is also known how administrators can control this storage using GPO.
