Windows Drivers, why they all dated June 21, 2006?

[German]Have you noticed, that all Microsoft build-in Windows drivers have the same date value June 21, 2006? Its independently of the Windows version – I have seen this driver date in Windows 7 and in Windows 10 as well.

Microsoft confirms: SMBus Controller devices loss functionality through Windows Update

[German]Windows Update can seriously damage your Windows installation due to installing a wrong driver. Microsoft has now confirmed such a case with Intel SMBus Controller devices in Windows 7/8.x (and its corresponding server builds).
