[German]Users of Apple devices (iPhone, Apple Watch, Macs) are probably being targeted by a wave of attacks known as "MFA bombing". The aim of the attackers is to take over the victims' Apple accounts through a wave of password reset requests. Careless users and a flaw in Apple's password reset mechanism are said to be facilitating this.
[German]Google has released an update of the Google Chrome browser (branch 123) in the stable channel on March 26, 2024, which closes seven vulnerabilities (some of them critical). [German]Hyper-V is a virtualization product from Microsoft. The company now sees a "bright future" for Hyper-V on Windows Server, including on Windows Server 2025. At least that is the message that Jack Woolsey from Microsoft and his team announced at the beginning of March 2024. Microsoft is probably also responding to the upheavals that Broadcom has triggered at VMware, which have made many VMware customers think about switching.
[German]Ever since Broadcom terminated the contracts of its VMware partners, streamlined its product portfolio and switched everything to (very expensive) subscriptions in the VMware Cloud, there has been a great deal of uproar. The problem is that since the February 2024 update under Windows 10, it is no longer possible to make changes to web protocols via API calls. However, this is needed in order to be able to register other applications for handling URL calls. It looks like the February 2024 update KB5034763 is the problem.

[German]Adobe has begun to introduce its own AI solutions in its products. There is a risk that Adobe products will begin to scan all documents in companies in order to obtain data for feeding the AI solutions. Administrators should therefore take immediate action to prevent this scanning, until it's clear what's going on. There seems to be a solution for Windows to stop scanning, but I am not aware of anything similar for macOS and other operating systems.
