[German]Security experts from BlackBerry's Threat Research and Intelligence team, have discovered the ChaChi remote access Trojan (RAT). The Trojan, which specializes in Windows systems, was developed by the hackers of the PYSA ransomware and attacks targets worldwide. In recent months, it has targeted educational institutions. The hackers, who have been attacking targets worldwide with ChaChi since summer 2020, operate from IP addresses in Germany and Romania.

[German]Mozilla's developers have released version 89.0.2 of the Firefox browser as of June 17, 2021 (hours after version 89.0.1). According to the release notes, the update fixes occasional hangs of the WebRender under Linux. [German]The developers of Sysinternals Tools have just released Remote Desktop Connection Manager (RDCMan) v2.8. The RDCMan tool manages multiple remote desktop connections. It is useful for managing server labs where admin need regular access to each machine, such as automated check-in systems and data centers.
[German]A ransomware called DarkRadiation targets Linux systems from Red Hat, CentOS or Debian-based distributions. Security vendor Trend Micro points this out in a new blog post. The malware does so using tools to detect the environment and then spread laterally across networks via spreader script.
