[German]I'm going to combine some  problem reports in the Windows Server environment into one collective post. A blog reader informed me yesterday that Microsoft OneDrive was crashing under Windows Server 2016. And I got a report about OneDrive issues during the weekend. I also saw a report on the patchmanagement.org mailing list about a boot loop on Windows Server 2019 in connection with the April 2025 security updates. The question is whether there are more people affected.

Windows 11 23H2: Update KB5055629 causes weather widget issues in lock screen

Windows[German]I'm dropping an observation here in the blog that a blog reader pointed out to me by email. The preview update KB5055629 released for Windows 11 23H2 could cause "collateral damage". The reader ran into problems with the unintentionally activated weather widget, which made it difficult to log out.

Windows 10/11: Printer bug with random character output fixed (March/April 2025)

Windows[German]Users of Windows 10 and Windows 11 may have had a problem with the January 2025 preview update installed and thereafter. Some USB printers may then "possibly" print random text. The problem was corrected promptly by the KIR function. However, this bug was finally fixed with the April 2025 security updates.

Microsoft rolls out recall for Windows 11 24H2 on Copilot+ PCs

Will all browsers and the web 'soon' be broken? "<" & ">" should be removed from innerHTML

[German]A small note from the "world of web browsers". There is a discussion in the Chromium bug tracker about angle brackets ("<" and ">"), which can occur as characters in HTML attributes or innerHTML elements. Escape handling is now to be introduced to prevent mXSS attacks. However, this could "break" the Chromium browsers (and other browsers).
