On that date, Microsoft announced that starting in May 2026, files deleted from the OneDrive cloud will no longer appear in the local Recycle Bin. [German]A quick note for administrators of Microsoft 365 installations who have placed their users in the Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel (SAEC). This channel will be merged with the Monthly Enterprise Channel (MEC). Users will therefore be subjected to the flood of updates from Redmond on a monthly basis going forward. [German]A quick note to blog readers who use Veeam Backup 365. Back in November 2025, there were already issues with the integration between Veeam Backup and Microsoft 365 mailboxes. Now, a reader has once again reported the Veeam Backup issue with Microsoft 365 mailboxes to me. This time, the EWS migration planned for Exchange Online starting at the end of 2026 has already cast its shadow. Microsoft rolled out its code change on March 27, 2026, which affects Veeam Backup and leads to errors.

[German]Unmanaged systems running Windows 11 24H2 Home and Pro are now being gradually updated to Windows 11 25H2. Microsoft announced this on March 27, 2026. The reason for this move is that support for Windows 11 24H2 Home and Pro will end in October 2026.
