[German]Google released a new update of the Google Chrome browser on September 21, 2020, which raises the browser to version 85.0.4183.121. It is a security update that closes ten vulnerabilities in addition to bug fixes.
[German]An unsecured Microsoft Bing server allowed third parties to retrieve search queries and user location data. Among the data disclosed was device information – but no personal data. In some cases, however, the combination of this data can identify users.

[German] Microsoft runs once again an advertising action, this time a call to register for the US presidential election, under Windows 10. An US Election Info suddenly pops up during a Windows 10 search as an advertisement in the start menu. And this advertisement is shown also for non US countries. By the way, the search in Windows 10 is now done on the server side.
