[German]In April 2018 Microsoft released a couple of updates for Windows, Office and other products. In addition to the known issues already reported by Microsoft (Known Issues), some updates lead to further problems. This article outlines some problems that have come to my attention recently.
VirtualBox 5.2.10
Oracle released the virtualization software VirtualBox version 5.2.10 on April 17, 2018. This is a maintenance update which should fix some bugs.
Java SE Version 8 Update 171/172 released
Oracle released the update for Java SE 8 to version 171 (and 172) on April 17, 2018. The update to version 171/172 is a security update that closes security holes (see also Oracle Security Advisory April 2018).
Google Chrome 66 released
Google has released Google Chrome 66 for Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, and iOS. The desktop version includes an autoplaying content blocking feature.
