Microsoft deactivates VBScript in IE as of August 2019

[German] Microsoft has just announced that it will soon deactivates (or already has deactivated) the execution of VBscript in Internet Explorer for untrusted Internet zones, as a security measure.

Google released Chrome 76

[German]Google has released the Google Chrome browser version 76. The new version blocks Flash by default, blocks the detection and deactivation of Incognito mode and brings improvements to PWAs. It also closes vulnerabilities.

Google Releases Security Updates for Chrome

Google has released Chrome 75.0.3770.142 for Windows, Mac, and Linux. This version addresses a vulnerability that an attacker can exploit to take control of an affected system.

Firefox 67.0.4 und Firefox ESR 60.7.2

[German]A few days ago the Mozilla developers first released the update to version 67.0.3 for the browser (see Firefox 67.0.3 and Firefox ESR 60.7.1), now the security update to version 67.0.4 (or ESR 60.7.2) has been released.

Firefox 67.0.2 loses passwords; blame AVG antivirus
